AMPSIMU is a guitar amplifier simulator module with a direct level control and headphone connection. It provides a small hardware starting point for a personal guitar listening setup, or an amp-simulation stage in a custom FXBLOX project. The module is designed to provide guitar amplifier simulation as part of the signal path. Use it when planning a compact guitar listening setup, rather than treating a headphone connection alone as the complete sound-shaping stage.
The level slider puts the principal adjustment on the board. Begin at a low setting and increase it gradually while playing, so you can compare the sound at a comfortable level through your monitoring equipment.
The exposed-board format and small footprint make connector placement and mounting part of your design. Keep the input, headphone connection and power connector accessible, and allow space for the full travel of the level slider.
